TSUKUYOMI - LORD MOON

Tsukuyomi es el segundo de las deidades 3 nobles, nacidas directamente del dios creador Izanagi, y uno mas importantes de la mitologia japonesa, es el hermano menor de Amaterasu, la diosa Solar y el hermano mayor de Susanoo, el dios del mar y las tormentas.

Segun el mito, Tsukuyomi nacio del ojo derecho del Izanagi cuando este se se bañó en el lago Onogoro-shima para limpiar sus pecados al escapar del inframundo y de la ira de su esposa Izanami, desde muy niño Tsukuyomi demostro ser increiblemente sabio, aun muy solitario y retraido, por lo que siendo aun niño se le dio el titulo de Dios lunar y la noche y su reino se encontra en dicho cuerpo celeste, el cual alcanso con el Takamagahara, la escalera celestial, (la misma que usaron los conejos para subir a la para preparar mochi), ademas de eso es el padre de todas las estrellas del firmamento.

Es el protagonista de multiples relatos japones como "asesinato de Uke-Mochi" en el de forma accidental Tsukuyomi asecina a la diosa de la comida y la prima favoria de Amaterasu, Uke-Mochi, por lo la diosa solar se resiente con su hermano y deside nunca volverlo a ver ni dirigirle la palabra (explicacion de por que la luna y el sol nunca se encuentran en el cielo) y actua como villano en la vercion japonesa del mito de "la noche del Tanabata" ya que es el quien quien separa a Orihime (una estrella) y Hikoboshi (un samurai) creando un enome rio de estrellas que divide el cielo nocturno (la via lactea) ya que le parece incorrecto que una de sus hijas se enamore de un mortal.
